Turkey A.Ş.

A.Ş. is a legal entity in Turkey, the full name of which is Anonim Şirket. It is a type of company with collective ownership and limited liability. A.Ş. can participate in the market publicly and requires at least one shareholder. It also requires at least one director, but there is no need to appoint a legal representative or a local person as a director. Additionally, A.Ş. does not require a company secretary. The minimum registered capital is 250,000 Turkish lira, and at least 25% of the cash capital must be paid into a special bank account before registration. However, a board of directors must be established, and at least one board member must hold the power to represent the company.
